Synaptics CFO Ken Rizvi Steps Down

(RTTNews) - Synaptics Incorporated (SYNA), a maker of semiconductor products, said on Friday that Ken Rizvi has stepped down as chief financial officer with immediate effect to pursue another opportunity. Rizvi, however, will remain in an advisory role through September 30 to assist with the transition.

"Synaptics has elected not to conduct a search at this time for a successor CFO due to the announcement on June 25, 2026 of the pending merger between Synaptics and onsemi. Rahul Patel, President and CEO, will serve as the principal financial officer through the closing of the merger," the company said.

Kermit Nolan, Synaptics' former Chief Accounting Officer, will return as a consultant to advise the internal team through the transition.
