Sunshine Biopharma Launches Generic Ondansetron Tablets In Canada
(RTTNews) - Sunshine Biopharma Inc. (SBFM) said Thursday it has launched generic Ondansetron tablets in Canada.
Ondansetron, the generic equivalent of Zofran, is indicated for the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery.
According to DataIntelo, the global Ondansetron market was valued at $1.82 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $2.98 billion by 2034.
Sunshine Biopharma shares were up more than 1% in pre-market trading after closing at $0.8758 on Wednesday.
