SpyGlass Pharma Q2 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - SpyGlass Pharma Inc. (SGP) on Thursday reported a wider second-quarter net loss as research and administrative expenses increased.

Net loss widened to $19.9 million, or $0.59 per share, from $8.7 million, or $3.81 per share, in the prior-year quarter.

Research and development expenses rose to $10.9 million from $7.3 million, while general and administrative expenses increased to $11.0 million from $2.0 million.

Looking ahead, SpyGlass expects to initiate the first-in-human trial of its Bimatoprost Drug Ring System, or BIM-DRS, in the second half of 2026 and report four-year efficacy and safety follow-up data for the BIM-IOL System in the fourth quarter of 2026.
