In early trading on Monday, shares of Ansys topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 5.2%. Year to date, Ansys registers a 16.8% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Waters, trading down 9.0%. Waters is lower by about 13.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Micron Technology trading down 5.2%, and Fastenal, trading up 5.1% on the day.
