In early trading on Thursday, shares of Qnity Electronics topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 8.9%. Year to date, Qnity Electronics registers a 59.9% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is The Trade Desk, trading down 10.4%. The Trade Desk is lower by about 40.6% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Universal Health Services, trading down 7.5%, and Paramount Skydance Corporation, trading up 7.5% on the day.
