In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Oracle topped the list of the day\'s best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 35.4%. Year to date, Oracle registers a 96.2% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Synopsys, trading down 33.6%. Synopsys is lower by about 17.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Cadence Design Systems, trading down 8.7%, and Broadcom, trading up 6.9% on the day.
