In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Charles River Laboratories International topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 11.3%. Year to date, Charles River Laboratories International registers a 30.7% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Insulet, trading down 19.4%. Insulet is lower by about 52.7% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are CDW, trading down 17.8%, and Wynn Resorts, trading up 11.0% on the day.
