In early trading on Friday, shares of Brown-Forman topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 5.7%. Year to date, Brown-Forman registers a 4.4% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Palo Alto Networks, trading down 6.8%. Palo Alto Networks is lower by about 20.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Datadog, trading down 6.4%, and Entergy, trading up 5.0% on the day.
