In early trading on Monday, shares of Palantir Technologies topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 4.6%. Year to date, Palantir Technologies registers a 90.0% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Moderna, trading down 2.1%. Moderna is lower by about 37.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Lockheed Martin, trading down 1.6%, and Incyte, trading up 4.3% on the day.
