In early trading on Thursday, shares of West Pharmaceutical Services topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 15.5%. Year to date, West Pharmaceutical Services, has lost about 2.3% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Molina Healthcare, trading down 20.8%. Molina Healthcare is lower by about 46.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Roper Technologies, trading down 9.1%, and Dow, trading up 10.7% on the day.
