In early trading on Tuesday, shares of ON Semiconductor topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 4.4%. Year to date, ON Semiconductor registers a 7.3% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is McCormick, trading down 7.9%. McCormick is lower by about 27.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Constellation Energy, trading down 6.9%, and Builders FirstSource, trading up 4.2% on the day.
