In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Axon Enterprise topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 13.3%. Year to date, Axon Enterprise registers a 42.0% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Gartner, trading down 28.7%. Gartner is lower by about 50.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Vertex Pharmaceuticals, trading down 15.1%, and Palantir Technologies, trading up 8.6% on the day.
