In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Southwest Airlines topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 3.4%. Year to date, Southwest Airlines registers a 28.3% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Humana, trading down 3.0%. Humana is showing a gain of 5.0% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Biogen, trading down 2.9%, and Dell Technologies, trading up 2.5% on the day.
