In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Super Micro Computer topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 19.6%. Year to date, Super Micro Computer registers a 4.2% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is GE Vernova, trading down 6.8%. GE Vernova is showing a gain of 53.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are TE Connectivity, trading down 6.5%, and Wabtec, trading up 8.1% on the day.
