In early trading on Thursday, shares of Royal Caribbean Group topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 14.6%. Year to date, Royal Caribbean Group registers a 19.8% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is First Solar, trading down 10.7%. First Solar is lower by about 14.7% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Microsoft, trading down 10.1%, and Southwest Airlines, trading up 10.2% on the day.
