In early trading on Monday, shares of Stanley Black & Decker topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 5.7%. Year to date, Stanley Black & Decker has lost about 4.2% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Eversource Energy, trading down 4.2%. Eversource Energy is showing a gain of 12.0% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Dominion Energy, trading down 4.0%, and Paramount Skydance, trading up 5.5% on the day.
