In early trading on Monday, shares of Dell Technologies topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 6.1%. Year to date, Dell Technologies has lost about 24.6% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is DaVita, trading down 4.0%. DaVita is lower by about 0.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Newmont, trading down 1.7%, and Palantir Technologies, trading up 5.7% on the day.
