In early trading on Wednesday, shares of First Solar topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 5.6%. Year to date, First Solar has lost about 2.4% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Centene, trading down 35.1%. Centene is lower by about 39.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Molina Healthcare, trading down 16.2%, and Albemarle, trading up 3.8% on the day.
