In early trading on Friday, shares of Lumentum Holdings topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 7.8%. Year to date, Lumentum Holdings registers a 163.9% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Clorox, trading down 9.4%. Clorox is lower by about 13.4% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are ResMed, trading down 6.6%, and Cboe Global Markets, trading up 7.7% on the day.
