In early trading on Thursday, shares of The Trade Desk topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 25.9%. Year to date, The Trade Desk has lost about 16.5% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Ciena, trading down 8.8%. Ciena is showing a gain of 34.0% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are McKesson, trading down 4.1%, and Expedia Group, trading up 9.9% on the day.
