In early trading on Thursday, shares of Cisco Systems topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 16.2%. Year to date, Cisco Systems registers a 53.6% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Albemarle, trading down 3.9%. Albemarle is showing a gain of 36.6% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Akamai Technologies, trading down 3.6%, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, trading up 6.6% on the day.
