Soybeans Facing Midday Weakness
Soybeans are trading with midday losses of 6 to 9 cents across the front months on Thursday. The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price is down 9 1/2 cents at $11.29 3/4. Soymeal futures are down 50 cents to $1.10, with Soy Oil futures falling 130 to 140 points.
Export Sales data from this morning showed 1.456 MMT of 2026/27 bean sales in the week of 10/29, in the middle of the 0.95-2.5 MMT trade range of estimates according to a Reuters survey. That was a 3-week low, but still 16.63% above the same week last year.

Soybean meal sales were tallied at 390,381 MT, in the middle of the estimated range of 250,000-500,000 MT. Bean oil sales were 1,523 MT, within the expected 0-10,000 MT.
USDA’s GAIN report on China showed the ag attaché estimate for 2026/27 soybean imports at 110 MMT, compared to the 115 MMT official USDA projection.
