RB Global Increases Share Buyback Program To $1 Bln; Shares Up

(RTTNews) - On Tuesday, RB Global, Inc. (RBA, RBA.TO) announced that the Toronto Stock Exchange has approved an amendment to its current normal course issuer bid to increase the maximum number of common shares of the Company that may be repurchased to be the lesser of 14.22 million shares, representing approximately 10% of the total public float of the Company as of March 6, 2026, and that number of Shares worth an aggregate of US$1 billion. No other terms of the NCIB have been amended.

The NCIB, launched on March 18, 2026, allows the Company to repurchase up to 10 million Shares or $500 million worth of Shares, whichever is lower. As of September 11, 2026, it had repurchased 5.36 million shares at an average price of about $93.22 each.

The amended NCIB is expected to take effect on September 17, 2026, and will run until March 17, 2027, unless completed earlier. The Company can generally repurchase up to 75,349 Shares per trading day on the TSX. All repurchased Shares will be cancelled.

On the NYSE, the shares were trading 2.67 percent higher at $86.27.
