RadNet Teams Up With WIN-NextGen To Inspire Future Medical Imaging Professionals

(RTTNews) - RadNet, Inc. (RDNT) announced a collaboration with WIN-NextGen to introduce middle school, high school and young adult learners to career opportunities in medical imaging through mentorship, digital learning and hands-on experiences.

The collaboration aims to address the growing workforce shortage in medical imaging as demand for diagnostic imaging services continues to increase faster than the pipeline of future radiologists and radiologic technologists.

Under the initial program, students ages 12 to 17 across Maryland, Washington, D.C. and parts of Virginia, along with young adults ages 18 to 24, will have access to WIN-NextGen's digital workforce platform featuring age-appropriate learning modules, interactive career experiences and mentorship opportunities.

Participants will also have opportunities to take part in imaging center shadowing experiences, allowing them to gain firsthand exposure to radiology and learn about potential career paths within medical imaging.

The program is designed to increase awareness of medical imaging careers and help students and young adults explore nontraditional pathways into the healthcare workforce.

RadNet and WIN-NextGen said the collaboration is expected to expand over time to include internship and scholarship opportunities. During the initial phase, participants can earn rewards including "Totally Rad" merchandise, iPads, invitations to select RadNet events and mentorship sessions with experienced radiologic technologists.

An official launch event is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at RadNet's Advanced Radiology Timonium Crossings Imaging Center in Timonium, Maryland. Students and families will tour the facility, watch demonstrations and participate in educational activities.

RadNet shares have traded between $50.82 and $85.84 over the last year.

RDNT closed Wednesday's trade at $68.94, down 2.42%. In the pre-market trading, the stock is trading at $68.00, down 1.36%.
