NeOnc's Phase 2a Data Shifts Nasdaq Narrative; Stock Up

(RTTNews) - NeOnc Technologies Holdings (NTHI) has reported Phase 2a results for its NEO100 in recurrent IDH1-mutant high-grade glioma, marking a pivotal moment for the company's Nasdaq listing.

The study showed a six-month progression-free survival rate of 48.9%, more than double the historical benchmark of 20%, with a p-value of 0.0047. Median overall survival was approximately 26.1 months, while six-, 12, and 24-month survival rates reached 86.7%, 60.9%, and 54.1%, respectively.

The open-label, single-arm study is not definitive proof of efficacy, but the results provide a strong clinical signal that could reshape the company's financing outlook. With an existing $75 million at-the-market (ATM) program, NeOnc now has the ability to leverage encouraging human data alongside its Nasdaq Global Market infrastructure. This combination potentially strengthens its negotiating position with institutional investORS strategic partners, and pharmaceuticals companies.

Management has indicated plans to engage with the FDA on the pathway toward a larger registrational study, which would require expanded resources, including more patients, clinical sites, and manufacturing capacity.

Research and development expenses have already risen to $2.6 million in the second quarter, up from $0.7 million a year earlier, reflecting increased clinical activity.

Beyond NEO100, NeOnc is advancing NEO212 and has secured UAE IND approvals covering multiple adult and pediatric programs. This broader pipeline underscores the importance of capital access as the company seeks to build a CNS oncology platform.

NTHI has traded between $3.10 and $12.99 over the past year. The stock is currently trading at $5.55, up 13.17%.
