In early trading on Friday, shares of Diamondback Energy topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 1.4%. Year to date, Diamondback Energy, registers a 36.2% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Advanced Micro Devices, trading down 4.1%. Advanced Micro Devices is showing a gain of 10.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are PDD Holdings, trading down 3.9%, and Biogen, trading up 0.7% on the day.
