In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Cognizant Technology Solutions topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 6.8%. Year to date, Cognizant Technology Solutions has lost about 5.8% of its value.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Verisk Analytics, trading down 14.1%. Verisk Analytics is lower by about 27.6% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are CoStar Group, trading down 12.5%, and American Electric Power, trading up 6.4% on the day.
