In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Broadcom topped the list of the day\'s best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 6.9%. Year to date, Broadcom registers a 55.3% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Synopsys, trading down 33.6%. Synopsys is lower by about 17.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Cadence Design Systems, trading down 8.7%, and Constellation Energy, trading up 5.3% on the day.
