In early trading on Friday, shares of Western Digital topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 2.6%. Year to date, Western Digital Corp registers a 62.8% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Palo Alto Networks, trading down 6.8%. Palo Alto Networks, is lower by about 20.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Datadog, trading down 6.4%, and Lam Research, trading up 2.5% on the day.
