Nasdaq 100 Movers: MU, FANG

In early trading on Thursday, shares of Diamondback Energy topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 5.4%. Year to date, Diamondback Energy, registers a 33.6% gain.

And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Micron Technology, trading down 6.8%. Micron Technology Inc. is showing a gain of 20.1% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Lam Research, trading down 5.8%, and Costco Wholesale, trading up 1.3% on the day.
