In early trading on Thursday, shares of Datadog topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 5.6%. Year to date, Datadog registers a 1.2% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Fortinet, trading down 24.9%. Fortinet is lower by about 23.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Airbnb, trading down 7.1%, and Applied Materials, trading up 4.4% on the day.
