In early trading on Monday, shares of Advanced Micro Devices topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 3.7%. Year to date, Advanced Micro Devices registers a 42.9% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Charter Communications, trading down 2.1%. Charter Communications is lower by about 11.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Gilead Sciences, trading down 1.6%, and ASML Holding, trading up 2.9% on the day.
