In early trading on Friday, shares of The Trade Desk topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 4.0%. Year to date, The Trade Desk has lost about 55.1% of its value.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Applied Materials, trading down 11.6%. Applied Materials is showing a gain of 2.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are KLAC, trading down 5.8%, and MercadoLibre, trading up 3.3% on the day.
