In early trading on Friday, shares of Diamondback Energy topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 4.2%. Year to date, Diamondback Energy, has lost about 5.0% of its value.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Adobe, trading down 6.3%. Adobe is lower by about 12.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Shopify, trading down 2.8%, and Zscaler, trading up 1.1% on the day.
