The ProShares Russell 2000 Dividend Growers ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 408,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 49,000. Shares of SMDV were off about 1.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Perrigo, trading off about 2.9% with over 593,000 shares changing hands so far this session, and Caretrust Reit, down about 1.8% on volume of over 546,000 shares. Shoe Station Group is the component faring the best Monday, up by about 2.5% on the day, while Universal is lagging other components of the ProShares Russell 2000 Dividend Growers ETF, trading lower by about 7.4%.
