The iShares Morningstar Mid-Cap ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 254,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 39,000. Shares of IMCB were trading flat on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Ford Motor, trading down about 0.7% with over 34.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Pacific Gas & Electric, down about 5.1% on volume of over 26.8 million shares. Alnylam Pharmaceuticals is the component faring the best Monday, up by about 7.7% on the day, while Moderna is lagging other components of the iShares Morningstar Mid-Cap ETF, trading lower by about 20.1%.
