The iShares Latin America 40 ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 2.2 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 1.0 million. Shares of ILF were off about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Itau Unibanco Banco Holding, trading off about 2.2% with over 13.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Ambev, down about 1.8% on volume of over 12.2 million shares. Ecopetrol is the component faring the best Monday, up by about 2.1% on the day, while Bancolombia is lagging other components of the iShares Latin America 40 ETF, trading lower by about 2.2%.
