In trading on Monday, the First Trust NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index Fund ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.9% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Corcept Therapeutics, up about 83.2% and shares of Amgen, up about 2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF, off about 4.4% in Monday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Monday were shares of Vaxcyte, lower by about 50.5%, and shares of Capricor Therapeutics, lower by about 18.3% on the day.
