In afternoon trading on Monday, Technology & Communications stocks are the best performing sector, up 0.4%. Within that group, Broadcom Inc (Symbol: AVGO) and Micron Technology Inc. (Symbol: MU) are two of the day's stand-outs, showing a gain of 10.0% and 7.1%, respectively. Among technology ETFs, one ETF following the sector is the Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (Symbol: XLK), which is up 0.8% on the day, and up 25.72% year-to-date. Broadcom Inc, meanwhile, is up 122.86% year-to-date, and Micron Technology Inc. is up 29.17% year-to-date. Combined, AVGO and MU make up approximately 7.1% of the underlying holdings of XLK.

The next best performing sector is the Financial sector, higher by 0.3%.
