In trading on Monday, biotechnology shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 4.9%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Vaxcyte, down about 50.5% and shares of Taysha Gene Therapies off about 27.2% on the day.
Also lagging the market Monday are airlines shares, down on the day by about 3% as a group, led down by Surf Air Mobility, trading lower by about 19.5% and Frontier Group Holdings, trading lower by about 11.3%.
