Monday Sector Laggards: Airlines, Semiconductors
In trading on Monday, airlines shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 4%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Allegiant Travel, off about 9.8% and shares of Alaska Air Group down about 8.3% on the day.
Also lagging the market Monday are semiconductors shares, down on the day by about 3.4% as a group, led down by Himax Technologies, trading lower by about 9% and Tower Semiconductor, trading lower by about 8.1%.
