Mediobanca Reports Higher FY26 Profit

(RTTNews) - Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. (MB.MI) on Thursday, reported fiscal 2026 total income of EUR 1.95 billion, up from EUR 1.84 billion in fiscal 2025.

Net profit increased to EUR 711.2 million from EUR 671.2 million a year earlier.

The increase in profit was supported by a 11.9 percent rise in pre-provision operating profit to EUR 1.17 billion and a 5.9 percent increase in net operating income to EUR 1.01 billion.

Higher dividends and gains on investments, along with stronger trading income, helped offset a rise in customer credit costs and income tax expense.

MB.MI closed Thursday's trading at EUR 28.77 up EUR 0.25 or 0.88 percent on the Milan Stock Exchange.
