Maximus Cuts FY26 Adj. EPS Outlook; Stock Down 5% - Update

(RTTNews) - While reporting financial results for the third quarter on Thursday, Maximus, Inc. (MMS) lowered its adjusted earnings guidance for the full-year 2026 to account for the temporary contractual modification on a major federal program, while maintaining annual sales growth outlook.

For fiscal 2026, the company now projects adjusted earnings in a range of $7.90 to $8.20 per share, down from the prior forecast range of $8.25 to $8.55 per share. However, the company continues to project sales between $5.20 billion and $5.35 billion, but toward the lower end of the range.

In Thursday's pre-market trading, MMS is trading on the NYSE at $59.86, down $3.26 or 5.16 percent.
