Liberty Media Posts Lower Net Earnings In Q2

(RTTNews) - Liberty Media Corp. (LSTZA), Thursday announced second-quarter financial results, reporting net earnings attributable to stockholders of $5 million compared to $204 million in the previous year.

The change in net earnings was primarily due to a decline in revenue and lower operating income.

Operating income for the quarter totaled $88 million compared to $280 million in 2025, mainly due to calendar variance and event count, driving a lower proportionate recognition of season-based revenue and costs.

Total revenue declined to $934 million from $1,203 million in the year-ago quarter.
