Kestrel Group Q2 Slips To Loss From Higher Expenses

(RTTNews) - On Friday, Kestrel Group Ltd (KG), a reinsurance company, reported a slip to a loss in the second quarter of 2026 due to higher expenses against total revenues.

Net loss for the period was $8.08 million or $1.03 per share, compared to net income of $69.93 million or $15.05 per share in the same quarter last year.

Total expenses were $12.99 million, compared to gains of $0.074 million in the previous year.

Adjusted operating losses were $6.74 million or $0.86 per share, compared to the earnings of $5.39 million or $1.12 per share a year ago.

Total Revenues for the period went up to $6.69 million from $5.57 million in the prior year.

On the Nasdaq, the shares were trading at $8.91 with no stock movement.
