Is Interpublic Group of Companies Stock Underperforming the S&P 500?

With a market cap of $9.8 billion, The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. (IPG) provides advertising and marketing services worldwide. Founded in 1902, the New York-based company operates in three segments: Media, Data & Engagement Solutions, Integrated Advertising & Creativity Led Solutions, and Specialized Communications & Experiential Solutions.

Companies worth between $2 billion to $10 billion are generally described as “mid-cap stocks,” and IPG perfectly fits that description, with its market cap exceeding this mark, underscoring its size, influence, and dominance within the communication services sector.
