Hyperion DeFi Launches First Institutional Credit Facility On Hyperliquid

(RTTNews) - Hyperion DeFi (HYPD) said it launched the first institutional credit facility on HyperLend's Aviya Finance platform, using Anchorage Digital's regulated settlement infrastructure.

The facility allows institutional borrowers to access onchain credit secured by natively staked HYPE tokens held in qualified custody at Anchorage Digital Bank, a federally chartered digital asset bank.

Aviya Finance is a permissioned institutional credit venue built on HyperLend's onchain lending infrastructure. The facility includes collateral monitoring, margin maintenance, loan-to-value thresholds and liquidation provisions designed to support institutional participation.

HyperLend said more than 150 million HYPE tokens are staked with validators outside Hyperliquid Labs and the Foundation, representing more than $10 billion in assets. Aviya initially supports HYPE and its staked derivatives as collateral, with plans to add other asset types.

Hyperion DeFi said the credit facility expands its institutional product suite on Hyperliquid, alongside validator operations, yield vault infrastructure and the HYPE Asset Use Service (HAUS).

Currently, HYPD is trading at $3.75, down 5.76%.
