Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: SOXX
The iShares Semiconductor ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 7.0 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 515,000. Shares of SOXX were down about 2.6% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Advanced Micro Devices, trading down about 1.6% with over 77.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Nvidia, off about 4.1% on volume of over 66.5 million shares. Wolfspeed is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 0.5% on the day, while Marvell Technology is lagging other components of the iShares Semiconductor ETF, trading lower by about 9.6%.
