The iShares U.S. Insurance ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 175,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 84,000. Shares of IAK were off about 0.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Progressive, trading up about 1.1% with over 1.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and American International Group, down about 0.1% on volume of over 875,000 shares. White Mountains Insurance Group is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 1.3% on the day, while Lemonade is lagging other components of the iShares U.S. Insurance ETF, trading lower by about 6.2%.
