Friday Sector Laggards: Precious Metals, Application Software Stocks
In trading on Friday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.4%. Helping drag down the group were shares of New Found Gold, down about 3.7% and shares of Galiano Gold off about 3.6% on the day.
Also lagging the market Friday are application software shares, down on the day by about 1.4% as a group, led down by Guidewire Software, trading lower by about 20.8% and Egain Corporation, trading lower by about 19.3%.
